I came upon A Subtle Agency while doing my usual search of GR to feed my TBR monster. After reading the synopsis I was very curious and decided to start it right away. I haven’t read a lot of urban fantasy lately and tend to be picky when it comes to this genre. To my delight A Subtle Agency had me captivated from beginning to end.

I went into this book with little knowledge of the plot, characters or overall writing of Graeme Rodaughan.
The writing was well done along with the action sequences.
I loved the secret society of the Vampire Dominion along with the Shadowstone Organization. Shadowstone is always having to clean up and coordinate for the vampires and I don’t envy that job at all! Once I got a grasp on who

As I stepped back into the vampire realm a second time and relived everything surrounding the Metaframe, I was once again transported back into the story. The re-read was just as awesome as the first time around and I even slowed my pace down on the reading of the book as I wanted to absorb every character’s emotions.
I tried to slow it all down through the action scenes, but that was a little hard as my heart accelerated with swords flashing, blood running, bullets zipping, rockets launching an
