I was really looking forward to reading this. It was a really fun book. I finished the book in five days. The character of Lynn can be frustrating as she works through some of her depression and the way she distorts realty. The leading male character Garret can be a jerk at times, and then other times he’s a girl’s best friend. The third character Chelsea was risky and sexy, if she couldn’t create trouble and drama, she’d go looking for it. I thought it was messed up that they stole from campers
I love Water Falls Down. Three teens who aren’t your typical leading characters, escape from a mental hospital and hideout in a national park. They build a fort, have drama, relationships develop among the main characters, and shady activity takes place in the woods. Depression, heart break, and teenage angst are the main themes in this story. This is book one in the series, and I’m looking forward to reading the second book.
really liked it
Lynn is a teenager, locked in a pysch ward due to issues she is having with depression and cutting. She feels fairly safe there, but disconnected from life and any type of reality. She decides to go along with her friends and make a break one night. They succeed, but are out with no money, very little possessions and are determined to remain in hiding. The three decide they should head to Yosemite based on Lynn’s recommendation. The story follows the three along various situations on their way.
